Presiden Joko Widodo (Jokowi) masih melihat positif hasil pertandingan Timnas Indonesia melawan China pada putaran ketiga Kualifikasi Piala Dunia 2026. Menurutnya kalah menang merupakan hal wajar.
“Ya namanya bola itu ada menang, kadang ada kalah, kadang draw itu biasa,” kata Jokowi di Sumatera Utara, Rabu (16/10/2024).
Jokowi mengatakan Timnas Indonesia harus tetap semangat karena masih ada peluang untuk lolos kualifikasi.
“Yang paling penting tetap semangat karena kita masih memiliki peluang besar untuk masuk ke ronde berikutnya,” kata Jokowi.
Sebelumnya, Tim Garuda gagal meraih poin penuh setelah kalah 1 – 2 saat saat melawan China di Qingdao Youth Football Stadium, Selasa (15/10/2024), malam.
