Presiden Prabowo Subianto memberikan arahan kepada para menteri agar pengembangan kawasan ekonomi khusus (KEK) terus dilanjutkan untuk menarik lebih banyak investasi.
“Arahan Bapak Presiden terhadap kawasan-kawasan ekonomi ini untuk terus didorong, dilanjutkan, dan juga diproses agar investasi bisa masuk, terutama investasi yang kemarin Bapak Presiden melakukan kunjungan ke luar negeri. Jadi, beberapa investor termasuk untuk data center dan lainnya untuk didorong,” kata Menteri Koordinator Bidang Perekonomian Airlangga Hartarto usai rapat terbatas dengan Presiden Prabowo di Istana Kepresidenan, Jakarta, Selasa.
Airlangga mengatakan pemerintah terus mendorong optimalisasi KEK untuk menarik investasi, meningkatkan ekspor, hingga membuka lapangan kerja.
Hingga kuartal III 2024, kata dia, total investasi yang masuk ke KEK mencapai Rp68,43 triliun dengan penyerapan tenaga kerja sebanyak 34.199 orang.
Adapun secara kumulatif, realisasi investasi di KEK telah mencapai Rp242,5 triliun, menciptakan 151.260 lapangan kerja dengan melibatkan 394 pelaku usaha.
“Capaian keseluruhannya selama ini mencapai Rp242,5 triliun, lapangan kerjanya 151.260 orang dengan 394 perusahaan,” kata Airlangga.
Selain itu, Airlangga juga mengatakan bahwa dalam rapat terbatas tersebut turut dibahas mengenai proyek strategis nasional (PSN). Presiden memberi arahan untuk mengejar penyelesaian PSN yang ditargetkan tahun 2024-2025.
“Arahan Bapak Presiden PSN yang selesai 2024-2025 untuk terus dikejar. Karena direncanakan di tahun ini 18 proyek selesai, sedangkan 30 lagi akan selesai pada 2025,” katanya.
Kepala Negara juga meminta program tersebut dapat terus dilanjutkan. Apabila nantinya terdapat investasi lain, maka hal tersebut akan dibahas lebih lanjut atau rinci
